Lisa Ray a pretty face with high cheek bones born in 1972, on April 4th, in Toronto, Canada. Her father is a Bengali and mom is Polish. She is apparently living with Paolo Zambaldi, the famous fashion photographer.
Lisa has been modeling since she was 16 years old. She came into limelight by making an appearance in the Bombay Dyeing advertisement with Karan Kapoor (Shashi Kapoor’s son) wearing a black swimsuit. Even today posing in swimwear is a big deal. And this was the early 90s! A photo shoot in swimwear is something reserved only for those with perfect bodies. And Lisa definitely has one.
A Times of India poll named Lisa the “ninth most beautiful woman of the millennium”, the only model in the top ten.

After her debut film Kasoor, Lisa Ray seems to have lost her interest in films. She said “I realised that that world was not for me. It demands dedication…”
Lisa wants to be a novelist, was the “brand ambassador” for Lakme cosmetics in India. She speaks many languages including Hindi though not brought up in India.
